Simultaneous chant ( (8 repetitions): Think think think think
filled with splinters
(beat changes as company takes new places)
Goodies chant: Learn a trade! Earn your bread! Donkey Fever!
Baddies: Sell the book! Bury the coins! Heartless puppet!
(chants build until the three pinocchios are devoured in the center of the room)

( a domination game between partners begins)
Pinnochio: Keep still you ugly cricket
Cricket: Poor boy you have a wooden head
(The Pinocchio's strike the floor and the crickets fall dead)

(four storybook images are formed, as Pinocchio visits each image it changes)
Group 1: The police man ended matters by setting Pinnochio free and dragging Geppetto to prison.
Group 2: In order to search for his son we are afraid he will be drowned.
Group 3: Take harlequin, tie him and throw him on the fire I want my Lamb well done.
Group 4: I saw your father yesterday he was in his shirt sleeves trembling with cold.

(The company forms a group of children and a machine in the center of the room the butterball man leads the kids into the machine)
Butterball man: Come with me to the land of toys.
Children: He’s a very good boy
Fond of study, obedient, and kind to his father.
(as the children come out of the machine they are donkeys)
Donkeys: Hee Haw.
Machine: Choice- temptation- candy tastes better- back and forth.

(They also turn into Donkeys)
Butterball Man: Horrid little being you have brayed well. Don’t lose sleep over donkey’s who weep. HEE HAW.
