Manhattan Experimental Theater Workshop

a program of the Manhattan Arts Center in Manhattan, Kansas

It’s photo time!

And it is almost showtime! Tomorrow (June 15) is the first of the two 30th anniversary MXTW performances. A few weeks ago, everything you will see did not exist yet. We had no scripts, nor did we even know what our target story was going to be. And now we are ready to perform five small group pieces, as well as our two whole company pieces, and all is inspired by Romeo and Juliet.

All of us have been hard at work putting together a fantastic show for you all!

We understand our audiences work hard too. You are right there with us, experiencing it as we feel, perform, and burn with energy. As much as MXTW benefits its participants in mind, body, and spirit… Everything we do, we do for you.

What you are seeing in this post is a selection of photographs taken during our various tech rehearsals.

If you ever are in the mood to see more MXTW pictures, visit our Flickr page! We have a lot of pictures from years past, and the pictures from this year will be uploaded soon.
